Greyfrairs Stour at Canterbury
The oldest Franciscan building in the U.K. Has a permanent exhibition on the ground floor and a chapel (used daily by the Anglican Franciscan brothers) on the first floor. Available for prayer groups, pilgrimages and quiet days. Toilet and water available nearby. Three acres of garden including an English Meadow.

Haughland House and Hollandstoon Unitarian Chapel

Little Gidding
The church was made famous by T.S. Eliot's poem Little Gidding. It is adjacent to Ferrar House named after Nicholas Ferrar. He founded a lay community here in 1625. Among his famous visitors were Charles I, the poet George Crawshaw. Church open from 10 a.m. to sundown. Quarterly evensong on Fifth Sunday's 6 p.m. in summer 3 p.m. in winter.

The church is next to Ferrar House in the hamlet of Little Gidding in Cambridgeshire only minutes from the A1.
From the North (A1 southbound)
Leave the A1 at junction 16 (Norman Cross) marked A15 Yaxley (Ramsey B660). At the roundabout take the third exit signposted Ramsey B660 and then the first left. Follow the road for approx 2 miles. Turn left after the flyover marked Ramsey and the Giddings B660. At the T-junction turn left marked The Giddings B660. Stay on the B660, through Glatton to Great Gidding (approx 3 miles). Once in Great Gidding, turn left before the Fox and Hounds down Mill Lane. Continue about half a mile until the road down to Little Gidding on the right. Ferrar house is at the bottom of the lane.
From the South and East (A1 northbound)
Leave the A1 at junction 15, signposted B1043 (B660) to Sawtry and Ramsey. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit, signposted Conington and Glatton. Continue through Sawtry following signs for Glatton. In Glatton turn left at the T-junction, signposted Great Gidding on the B660. Once in Great Gidding, turn left before the Fox and Hounds down Mill Lane. Continue about half a mile until the road down to Little Gidding on the right. Ferrar house is at the bottom of the lane.
From the West (A14 eastbound)
Leave the A14 at the junction marked for Kimbolton and Ramsey (B660). At the T-junction turn right. At the next T-junction turn right. Drive through Old Weston. Stay on the main road at the sharp left-hand bend and take the next junction right to Winwick (B660). Drive through Winwick on to Great Gidding. Once in Great Gidding, continue up Main St and turn right after the Fox and Hounds down Mill Lane. Continue about half a mile to the road down to Little Gidding on the right. Ferrar House is at the bottom of the lane.

Find your way to Talsarnau on the A496 between Maentwrog and Harlech. By the Honda garage, turn up a minor road signposted ‘Llandecwyn’. After 100 yards turn sharp left. In about a mile at a T-junction turn left. In 300 yards turn right (trust the no through road sign). Go over a cattle grid. After 200 yards, alongside a lake, Llyn Tecwyn Isaf, bear left up a hill. Again, trust the no through road sign. In less than half a mile, you will come to the church.
The church will usually be open between 2.00 pm and 5.00 pm from late May to late September and at other times by request.
Candlelit Prayer: 8.30 pm on Sundays in July and August
The Poustinia and its garden is where you can come for up to 24 hours and just ‘be’.

The Poustinia is an old Russian institution. The Pous-tinik wanders from place to place, stopping where he is needed, for however long, in a special, very simple hut, with just a bed, chair and table and of course the Bible.

The Chapel is housed in the old monastic buildings next door to Prior Crauden's House. Passing through the Porta from the Gallery , on your right you will see the monastic barn (14th century), part of which is now the school dining room. To the immediate left is a path that leads to the Chapel

How to get there
St Pancras Church is in the middle of the Guildhall Shopping Centre in the heart of Exeter. It lies just north of the High Street behind the Guildhall.
The church is usually open Mon-Fri 10:00am - 4:00pm. There is a midweek Eucharist on Tuesdays at 1:05pm.

The church is open on summer Sunday afternoons, between Easter and the end of September between the hours of 2.30 a.m. and 5 p.m.. And on Thursday afternoons, between mid-May and the end of September between the hours of 2.30 p.m. and 5 p.m..

The Church of the Storms! A 14th century church in a wild place of peace and beauty. It nestles out of the wind, beneath a rocky outcrop, beside a sandy beach where Atlantic rollers pound against the Lizard Peninsular. The church is on the site of St. Winwaloes 6th century monastery!
Follow the coastal footpath and walk over the headland from Poldhu Cove. By car: park at the National Trusts, Gunwalloe Car Park. Take A3083 from Helston and turn right 1ml past main RNAS Culdrose entrance.
This little gem, set in a meadow of natural beauty, with a stream running behind it and where bird songs fill the air, is a place of peace and tranquilly, where many find it a special place to meditate, pray and praise our Lord and Creator.
The church is 14th century and in it is a first half of 6th century memorial stone which commemorates the elite of western Britian in this period and was brought into the church in the 1950's.

from the Menai Bridge take the A5025 to Brynrefail, 2 miles after the Moelfre roundabout. In Brynrefail take the first left to Mynydd Bodafon (not signed) about half a mile up the road is a sharp bend. The church is then in front of you, across the field before you turn the corner
The church is open each day throughout the year and in July and August between the hours of 2.00pm and 5.00pm there will be someone to welcome you and, if desired, to have a conversation and some refreshment. Services are at 11.30pm each Sunday.

The Pales, Llandegley
The Pales is the oldest Quaker Meeting House in Wales in continuous use. It is an active place of worship (3 p.m. on the 3rd Sunday of every month) and a place for prayer and reflection

From the A44 at Llandegeley go north uphill and turn left along the contours.
This is a hand crafted 21ft Mongolian style tent which (although portable) usually resides in a garden at the northern edge of London. It is a unique, organic space and is available (by prior booking) for individuals and small groups. Tea, coffee and toilet facilities are available in the adjacent house.
